Todd M. Rutkowski
My wife Maryanne and I stayed an extra couple of days after our community pilgrimage to Germany in the summer of 2009. We went across the border to Poland, to my homeland. The university Pope John Paul attended, his first church, the factory of Oscar Schindler and the castle preserving the Polish kings, all find a home in Krakow, the once capital city...

Being a missional community - Part I
|

Todd M. Rutkowski
What does it mean for the average Christian to "be" the church rather than "go" to church? How does a community of followers of Christ move from having a few doers and a lot of spectators to being a missonal people together?

Being a missional community - Part 2

In the Orthodox Church you will hear the saying “all of life is sacred and spirit-bearing”. The dichotomy often expressed in the evangelical world between that which is spiritual and that which is not is blurred or erased in this orthodox worldview. There is an understanding that all of life is holy and set a part by God. There is less disintegration between real life and our spiritual life, at least in principle within this worldview....
